July's harvest and page

This month has been completely nuts. I have had 20 new clients in 3 weeks, I was nominated for garden of the month and the harvest is on! I harvested all this in 2 days. I freeze what I want, share with the neighbors and the rest goes to a soup kitchen. My pups make sure they don't miss a thing.

A friend of mine came in last week and laid down a piece of orange ultra suede on my desk and the pallet for August was created. I had been working with some other swarvoskis and just happened to have them laying out, the little sparkly ones, the other was a dichroic glass piece I got at a bead retreat a few years ago. It all came together so well.

This is my progress for July....My Inner Self
I made the Buddha face from a mold, the piece of rhodochrosite I have had for may years. When I am finished I will explain how this page affects a very sad area of my life. One thing for sure, we are never too old or too wise to rebuild areas of our lives. One door has been closed but many have opened in return, I count my blessings every day.

Diana Grygo at http://thelonebeader.blogspot.com is an incredible artist to check out for those of you new to this blog. She is truly an inspiration!!

Have a great day.

Your beaded page is exquisite but what I really love are those dogs! What beauties they are!

I like the way the beads melt into but add to the background.

What lush surroundings you have! Oh, for some fresh veggies!

Boy do I know volumes about "doors closing" and other "doors opening"! I'm glad we can share that through our art-Thanks, Lillian

Judi dear, I love the colours you are using with this page, very earthy - they become you

Great shot of the eagles too, it makes me want to come visit & go fishing with you & Mike

Yes, the earth tones in your beadwork match the source of your gardening. I'm amazed you've had time to get this much done, as your gardening must take hours and sap your energy. One of my good friends had a gardening business and she says it take ALL of her creativity, with none left over for any other art. Good for you that you found a way to do both!

My dogs are my pride and joy, wouldn't be the same without them!

Fresh vegies are the best, picked beans and potatoes yesterday. I think I am caught up for a bit.

I would be dead in the water without art.

You are welcome!!!

The process of commenting on my page....wow....working through so much. I hope it reads well....grins.

I wish you could go fishing with us, it is always a time of peace and harmony.

I am tired at the end of my days, but it is a good tired. I am lucky to have a husband that knows I can not be in 2 places at one time.....thank goodness. He enjoys the process of my creating and encourages me to do so.....what a blessing.

Thank you all for taking a look, it means a lot to me.
